 MATP will have Mark Smith, District Captain for the Michigan Chapter of Convention of States, to tell us about the current push for an Article V Convention of States.  Currently there are 19 states out of the 34 needed to have the convention called.  The meeting will be held in the banquet room at the Bungalow Inn on US31 south of Manistee.  The social hour and optional dinner will begin at 5:30 PM and the presentation will follow at approximately 6:30 PM. 

 Northern Michigan Debate - Republican Governor Candidates
'Citizens Liberating Michigan' is hosting a Debate with the Republican Candidates for Governor in Traverse City.  They will also be having a Grand Ball that evening.  Both will be held at the Park Place Hotel and Conference Center in the Grandview Room in Traverse City, 300 E State St, Traverse City.
Debate Time: 3-5pm - free admission but must reserve a seat
Governor Candidate Grand Ball Time 7-10pm must purchase tickets.  Tickets for the Grand Ball includes plated dinner -- $100/ticket --$ 175 for a couple -- $600 for a table of 8

Debate attire will be casual to business casual.

Grand Ball attire is formal and fun (or do the best you can).
